Fall Activities

Fall+Activities

It’s fall already! With fall comes freezing weather, falling leaves, Halloween, and of course new exhilarating autumnal activities. With this article I hope to help anyone reading find a new fun thing to help them to enjoy the new weather.

Starting off is corn mazes! A nostalgic activity during the fall months, whether you’re getting lost with friends or finding your way through with family, it’s always an exciting time. Konow’s Corn Maze, a personal favorite of mine, opens at 10 am and closes at 8 most nights excluding Tuesday’s and Wednesdays when it opens at 3 pm, and Sunday when it closes at 7. They not only have a wonderful corn maze but also great apple cider doughnuts, and tractor rides are all staples of an enjoyable time in fall.

If you’re more of a thrill seeker though, there is always Fright Fest in Great America. Fright Fest is a fall only activity opening September 17 and closing on October 31. Fright Fest not only brings thrilling coasters but also scary figures right on time for Halloween. They even have a Haunted attraction pass which includes Haunted houses in the amusement park.

So, whether you’re looking for classic fall fun or haunted Halloween tricks there is something for everyone this time of year.
