Look no further, the auto department here at East if the perfect answer to any of these questions. Our auto shop takes customer cars just like a regular shop, but for a much better price. Looking to take your car in? Talk to Mr. G, Mr.O, or even Mr. Fazio in room 182. This isn’t just limited to repairs; they also do a full wash and detail, all done by our very own students! Are you interested in learning how to take care of your own car? Add one of the automotive electives to your schedule! Auto maintenance and repair is a fun and easy class for everyone! It’s also only a semester long! Here you learn basic, but necessary knowledge in taking care of your own car in real world situations. Another fun class you can add, which is also a semester class, is small engines. Here you completely take apart and rebuild a small engine! This is a great class if you’re a hands-on learner and great to take with a friend. Want to go a little deeper into your auto knowledge? Add Auto 1,2, and voc auto to your schedule, but plan accordingly. Each of these is a yearlong class and needs to be taken in order. Make sure you understand and meet the pre-recs before adding it to your schedule. These auto classes not only take customer cars, but you are full range to work on them yourself. Theres something for everyone in this department. If auto isn’t your thing, there’s also welding, woods, construction, cad, and so much more!
