It has finally started! At 2:05 pm on 2/21 the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers played in Japan. Let’s talk about how exciting this is. Baseball is America’s past-time as many know, and spring training is a very important factor. It preps everybody for the regular MLB season. Just like how exciting NFL exhibition games are, MLB spring training can bring just as much excitement. Seeing our favorite ballers back in action hitting home runs, line drives, and fly-balls is the best. Baseball truly brings everybody together and brings excitement. Spring training can influence others to begin to get into the cages because for many children, teens, adults-this is also the time they begin to practice. This year will be exciting, but personally I think the Dodgers can win it all again. Shohei Ohtani is a Dodger, and I think he can carry the team to victory. Some think the Mets can go big this year, as they have Juan Soto. But my grandpa thinks the Cubs will win it all. This is another exciting trait of spring training which is seeing the Superstars back in action. So, all in all, let’s enjoy spring training, get ready for the MLB season, and most importantly, spring training means that amazing weather will come soon! Go Dodgers!
