It’s that time of year again! The leaves are starting to change color and the temperature is dropping. Fall is finally here. Now that it’s here, you’re going to want to be consuming the right media to get in the fall mood!

Starting with shows:

• Gilmore Girls

I think this show is really great especially during the back to school season because it features a school setting in parts of the episodes! Although the whole show isn’t fall themed, there are certain fall episodes that are perfect.

• American Horror Story

This show is perfect if you are looking for more of a horror aspect. Each season is a different storyline, but they all connect in some way, which makes it more intriguing.

• Stranger Things

This show has been more popular recently because of its 4th season, so you have probably already heard of it. Although all the seasons don’t occur during fall, the spooky features. It’s a supernatural horror show that takes place in Indiana in the 1980s.

• Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

This show also has more of a supernatural horror genre because it is an adaptation of the original “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”.

The horror makes it extremely fitting for fall!

Now, onto movies:

• Hocus Pocus

This classic fall movie takes place on Halloween and follows the story of a young girl, her brother, and their friend. It is a fantasy horror film that is currently getting a sequel after 29 years! The sequel comes out on Friday, September 30th.

• Halloweentown

This trilogy has been a Disney channel classic that I can never get sick of. It is incredibly nostalgic and it brings a sense of comfort. It never fails to make me excited for Halloween.

• Harry Potter

I could not write about fall movies and not include the Harry Potter series. I watch these movies every fall and they make me wish I attend Hogwarts. Not only does the back to school parts make it perfect for fall, but there are also scenes that occur around Halloween.

• The Nightmare Before Christmas

Another classic Halloween movie is this one! It has always been a movie that I look forward to watching with my family when fall rolls around. It gets everyone in the Halloween spirit, plus you can watch it all the way until Christmas.

Finally, music:

• Red (Taylor’s Version) by Taylor Swift

This album is the epitome of fall. I can never listen to this album without wishing it was fall. Now that it’s fall, it’s all I listen to. I think it is the perfect fall album. Remember to listen to Taylor’s Version though!

• AM by Arctic Monkeys

This album is one of my favorites. I have it on vinyl and I listen to it all the time. I have always associated it with fall because of the vibes it gives off. This is perfect for anyone who prefers more of an alternative genre.

• Punisher by Phoebe Bridgers

This album is also definitely one of my favorites. It’s such an amazing album with incredible lyrics. There is a song on this album called “Halloween”, so it can not get more fall than that.

• Sling by Clairo

Not only is this album perfect for fall, it’s also a good album to listen to while doing homework or studying. It’s a very calm album by another one of my favorite artists.
