Valentine’s Day just passed, and that means love is still in the air. Well, for some people, but for others, Valentine’s Day is a day of melancholy. Lots of people though, have come up with solutions to this sad, upsetting day: Rom Coms! Rom coms, or romantic comedies, are a fantastic way to cheer those who don’t have a Valentine up. This seems to be a popular idea among the students here at Lincoln-Way East. Sophomore, Ella Cagala, says that her favorite Rom Com would have to be Mamma Mia! This movie is a great one for cheering people up for Valentine’s Day. Its comedic relief and musical elements really make a person feel better. Another sophomore here at East, Paige Sullivan, says that 10 Things I Hate About You is her personal favorite. Another award-winning film from the early 2000’s! These movies are some of the best, but there are so many more. Junior, Savannah Cortina, reports that her favorite would have to be 13 Going on 30, what a classic! All of these movies are fantastic and amazing to have during Valentine’s Day!!
