On February 15, 2025, many students of Lincoln-Way East went to Twirp. Others may have gone to dinner or had a small get together with friends. February is the month of love and laughter and this weekend definitely showed it. Other schools may call this dance “Turn About” or even a “Winter Ball,” but whatever your school calls it it’s a lot of fun for everyone. This year’s theme was “Dancing in Disguise.” Let’s hear about some people who went to the dance and hear about their time. From freshman Izzy Honchar, “Twirp was an amazing experience! The DJ was amazing, and so was the food options the school provided! I loved getting to hang out with my friends and take photos at the photo booth!” Senior Emma said, “I thought Twirp was so much fun!!! The DJ this year was good. The food was okay. I wish there was something easy like Kona Ice as opposed to something you have to sit down and eat like Nautical Bowls or Chick Fil A. Overall, I had too much fun spending time with my friends!!” As you can tell a lot of people had fun at Twirp. We hope you had an amazing time!
