The class of ’29 Open House will be held at Lincoln-Way East in the field house on the night of Wednesday February 19th from 5:30pm-8:00pm where all the clubs will have booths set up with volunteer students and the club sponsor running them. These volunteers will explain the benefits and outcomes of joining a club at LWE. These student volunteers will receive community service hours, working towards the twenty-five hours that is required for all students to graduate from LWE, or just getting those numbers up in hopes of a scholarship. Joining a club sport or an extra-curricular activity and getting involved in your school life can be a game changer when it comes to applying for colleges, getting an understanding of many different areas of work, making new connections with the people in your everyday life, and building your social skills. There are over seventy different clubs you can enroll in at LWE ranging from helping put the yearbook together to competitive online gaming, with the wide verity of clubs to join there is something for everyone.
