Hurricane Helene, as many people have discovered, had such a huge impact on not just Florida and the states surrounding, but everywhere else in the United States as well. The intensity of this storm caused so much damage, including the severe rain and wind damage that caused the flooding and disruption of communities across Florida. Even though a lot of this damage can be fixed or repaired, it will take months or even years to replace all the damage. It can also be very costly, as it affects the economy as well as the infrastructure and environment of the state.
Along with Hurricane Helene, a few other hurricanes occurred one after another. Hurricane Milton hit immediately after Helene, causing tornadoes throughout the state. The total number of tornadoes that touched down in Florida was about 41. Even one tornado is unusual for a state like Florida, imagine 41 of them. Many people report that although Milton wasn’t as damaging as they had prepared for, they still hold the people who have been severely impacted in their hearts.
So many houses, buildings, and other important structures were torn to the ground, many devastated at the damage to the towns. This damage could last a long time, the states affected really were put in a state of survival. But now it is time for them to pick themselves up, and repair the damages.
