Summer is just around the corner, and that means that it’s time for ice cream again! The Creamery in Frankfort is one of the most popular destinations, it’s very close to the downtown area, and has a menu of everyone’s favorites. I’ve been a loyal “creamery-goer” every summer for as long as I can remember, and I’d like to offer some suggestions of the best and most popular things to order.

· Strawberry Cheesecake Blaster

One of the lighter and more refreshing blasters, with vanilla ice cream, chunks of cheesecake and strawberry slices!

· Dole Whip Flavor of the Week or Dole Whip Vanilla Twist

Personally, I like the pineapple flavored dole whip the best, and it is especially good when it is twisted on a cone with vanilla soft serve. The vanilla balances out the fruity flavor and goes well with any of the dole whips. Dole whip is very popular, but not a lot of people know that you can get it mixed with vanilla.

· Scoop of “Exhausted Parent” (New!)

This is the replacement for the “Rainbow Cone” ice cream flavors at the Creamery. It’s a combination of espresso and chocolate and goes very well with “Coconut Almond Bliss” which is another new flavor.

· Brownie Delight with Strawberries

The regular brownie delight is very good on its own, but tastes even better with strawberries. There is also an option to change the ice cream to chocolate if you’re looking for something extra sweet!

· Cookie Sandwich

Any of the “novelty” frozen cookie sandwiches are a good choice for the summer, especially when it is extra hot outside. My favorite so far is the regular chocolate chip flavor, but there are also plain, Oreo, and M&M options as well!
