Two books on the Read for a Lifetime List that I would recommend for anyone who wants to start reading or needs to get out of a slump!

A Good Girls Guide To Murder
If you are into a good murder mystery, this is the perfect book for you. In the town of Fairview 5 years ago, the high school senior it-girl, Andie Bell, was murdered by her boyfriend, Sal Singh, who then took his own life. The story still haunts the town all these years later. Current senior Pippa Fitz-Amobi has always struggled to wrap her head around the situation. One of the few people who has any doubts about the story, for her senior capstone project, she decides to reinvestigate the murder of Andie Bell. Was Sal Singh really a killer? Pip is determined to prove he is innocent. But how far will she go? This book will leave you on the edge of your seat for all 418 pages. If you love this book, I cannot recommend the two that follow AGGGTM enough! Pip is just getting started. If you are someone who doesn’t like to read or struggles to get into books, this series is sure to pull you out of your slump!

The Inheritance Games
Imagine getting told that a man you have never heard of or even met leaves you his entire fortune. Avery Grambs has her future planned out, but the news that mysterious Tobias Hawthorne has left her with this mysterious inheritance flips her life upside down. She arrives at Hawthorne House to try to make sense of this offer. She is greeted by the four Hawthorne brothers who appear to be nothing but trouble and a house filled with endless secrets, puzzles, riddles, codes and games. Avery has no choice but to play, but she doesn’t even know what that means. The stakes are high. Why would Tobias leave everything behind for her? Another impossible to put down book that is nothing like your typical mystery. This story is unique and unlike anything I have ever read before! The sequel, The Hawthorne Legacy, was recently published. If you end up loving this book, you don’t have to wait to find out what happens!
