As the holidays are approaching, many people would normally be planning their travels. This year things may look different for many travelers. Many people who travel to be with their family for the holidays or on vacation while others may have family traveling to them. This year with the pandemic going on they are expecting more people to travel than normal. According to USA Today, they think that many more will travel because they have not seen friends and family in so long. Many may chose to take a road trip over the holiday to avoid the airport and airplanes because of the virus. The American Automobile Association (AAA) said because of COVID it is hard to guess what the roads will be like. Some will still travel by air especially because the airline prices have been lower than normal because of COVID. You can book your trip and plan on going, but you can never be sure if it will really happen. Many people are trying to get travel insurance on their trips to insure they get there money back if it gets canceled because of COVID. Many families will be taking longer trips than normal because of more flexible schedules because of remote learning and more people working from home. These are just a few of the things that could play a role in your holiday travel plans this year.
