Bear Down, Chicago Bears!

Own Christensen, Staff Reporter

Bear down, Bear’s fans! The Bears have recently been on a winning streak going 3-0 so far in their series. Their most recent game against the Falcons devastated the other team with a comeback from 10-26 all the way to 30-26. Mitch Trubisky was having an awful game and around the beginning of the third quarter he was pulled out after he threw an interception at the 40. Nick Foles came in to replace Mitch Trubisky. During the final 10 minutes of the game, Nick Foles threw in 3 touchdowns to bring the score to 30-26. During the final minute of the game, the ball was intercepted by Tashaun Gipson to secure the win for the Bears. Recently, it has been announced that Trubisky is no longer the starting quarterback which may be for the better. Trubisky has had his many good moments, but he has not been able to consistently pass well. I asked an anonymous Bear’s fan for his opinion on the news and here’s what he had to say. He said, “I think this change needed to happen since Mitch couldn’t step up to the challenge. I believe it’s time to try something new if the same thing isn’t working.” While it may be sad to see our QB go, it may be for the best. The Bear’s games are on every Sunday and they are must watch thrilling games. Don’t let the spirit of this team be dragged down and show your support.
