Impeachment Announcement

Donald Trump’s impeachment meant that the branch of government (The House) had enough evidence to take him to court and more than half of the House agreed to this action. Although it may sound like he was leaving office, he is not. The Senate voted not to remove him from office. Trump was the 3rd person to be impeached in the US. Donald Trump was accused of “using the power of his office to try to boost his reelection chances and of obstructing Congress’s constitutionally authorized powers of investigation to cover up his actions,” according to Cameron Joseph and Greg Walters ( Neither articles of impeachment received enough votes to remove Trump from office.
