Six Flags During the Holidays

Hailee Marek, Staff Reporter

There are many places to go to look at Christmas lights, but did you know that Six Flags now features a holiday light show? There are plenty of rides to go on while looking at the lights. They also feature 6 different holiday shows. The first holiday show they feature is the Holiday Tree Lighting, and each night they light up the giant 50-foot tree with an awesome tree lighting ceremony. Next, they have the Kaleidoscope which as you enter the southwest Territory of the park you get to see the lights light up in brilliant beauty for a great light display while thousands of lights surround you. They also have Wonderland at the Grand which is at the biggest stage and features over a dozen live singers and dancers in the Grand Music Hall. The next holiday show they have is the Elegance Light Show which is near the Columbia Carousel and thousands of lights flicker and change colors with the beat of the music. They also have the Holiday Hoedown in which the cowboys and cowgirls dance to Christmas songs and have a dance party with visitors. The last show they feature is Looney Tunes Christmas which people of any age can sing Christmas carols with Bugs Bunny, Daffy, Tweety, and many more of the characters. So, if you are ever bored one day with nothing to do, go out to Six Flags and enjoy the rides and the holiday season.
