The talk around the school has been Homecoming, and many people have debated if Homecoming this year or last was better. With similar turn outs at both, the gyms have been packed with many sweaty teenage girls and boys dancing the night away. Students have said the DJ was better this year while others have said last year’s was better. The theme this year has also brought a lot of controversy between classmates. This year Student Council had cotton candy and popcorn while last year they had donuts. They also had someone drawing pictures which many students did not know about. Here are a few words from sophomore, Shea Maney. When asked what Homecoming she enjoyed more, “Personally I think this year’s was better because this DJ played way less rap music, and I am not a fan of rap. The only bad thing to say about the Homecoming is that it was very hot in the gym. The theme of this homecoming also sparked more interest in me.” The next dance will be TWIRP in February, and Student Council is hoping to get honest feedback so that changes can be made. Everyone has different views on what made one Homecoming better then another but these are some vital points that students compared.
