After working hard in the summer and the start of the school year, the Griffin volleyball team came out better and stronger than the previous year. The team has been practicing since the middle of July and has accomplished many things. With few games left in the season, the Griffins are 25-8 on the season. They got 1st in the Velocity Summer League Playoffs, 3rd in the St. Charles Invite, defeated rival LWC, won their tournament at Lincoln-Way Central, and are the 2nd seed in their Regional bracket. Senior Olivia Molnar said, “The season was great. We did awesome this year, and volleyball has been a memorable experience.” The team is looking stronger, going into the state playoffs hoping to win their regional, sectional, and make it to state. The Griffin volleyball program is excited for the future generations to come and glad the season is ending on a good note.
